Post subject:  One channel is black and white

I finally got my mythbox working just as I like it, but while recording Heroes tonight, I noticed that my NBC station is black and white. Every other channel works.
Oh and my OSD seems to have a big black border, causes my recordings to studder when it 'fades' off screen. Is there a fix for any of these problems?

Thanks.

D E T A I L S ! ! ! We can't help you unless you can tell us a bit more than "Doctor it hurts" without any specifics.

Which channel(s) aren't tuning right - 5 and/or 6? The only reason I'm able to guess that much is because this is an FAQ. See this troubleshooting page on the wiki: http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page=BlackScreenWatchingTV and pay particular attention to the part about "Wrong frequency set".

Since you haven't given us any hardware or configuration details, the best we can do for you on the OSD issue is probably to point you to the main troiubleshooting page on the wiki: http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page=TroubleShooting

Oops, sorry bout that.
Celeron 1.1GHz w/ 512MB RAM
PVR-150MCE
Geforce 4 MX440 AGP

Channel 4 is the local NBC station. I swear it was working before I upgraded to MythTV .20.
Sorry about the lack of information.

Have you tried using the finetuning options in one of the channel editors? (Under mythtv-setup it's option #5, or MythWeb->settings->channels using a browser, there may even be something under the frontend GUI setup menus...) Start with steps of ~25-100 uu and down to see if there's any improvement.

You don't have another device on the same cable (like a VCR) that is set to rebroadcast on channel 4 right? That could be causing some interference.

I'll try finetuning it.
I've got a RF Modulator to convert the composite/s-video to co-ax as my TV doesn't have RCA plugs on it.
