I'm using mythfilldatabase to import my program listings in XML format. The exact syntax I use is: mythfilldatabase --verbose all --file 1 14 /path/to/XML/file

The problem I'm having is that I'm getting seemingly random programs listed on two different channels. One of the listings will be the right one. The second listing bears the same program name, time, etc.. but it is listed on the channel that has a chanid +5 from the correct listing. So if a program is correctly listed on chanid 1002, it may be also incorrectly listed on chanid 1007. I have yet to discern any pattern in which programs get this duplicate listing.

I can confirm that the duplicate programs are not in the XML file that I am importing. I can also confirm from the verbose log of mythfilldatabase that the programs seem to be imported under the correct XMLTVID only.

I have a feeling that it might be related to a capture-card change that I did recently. I removed a PVR-500 and put in 2 PVR-150s in it's place, along with 1 pre-existing PVR-150. During the exchange, I deleted all capture cards and channel data, but I left the guide data source listing that I am now using.

So my questions are: Could the source listing I left in place be causing this somehow? What else could cause this behavior? And what are my options for dealing with it?

The box in question is running R5D1.

Use webmin or some other mySQL DB frontend and look at these 4 tables.
    callsignnetworkmap
    cardinput
    channel
    videosource

Make sure that your callsigns and channels are unique, that you only have one sourceid, and there aren't any duplicates or confusions.
