This reboot issue is first noticed when you go to live tv and you can't change channels and it just says "-0" as the channel # all the time.

every once in a while when I need to reboot my KnoppMyth I run the reboot command as root and things seem to come back up fine, bit a lot of the time, I get corruption in mySql db, and I have to run

cd /var/lib/mysql/mythconverg
myisamchk -f *.MYI

which results in loss of data such as this and other tables too:

Checking MyISAM file: recordedmarkup.MYI
Data records: 659965 Deleted blocks: 83300

This has now happend 5 times exactly the same way, the fix is the same, run that script and recreate my channel stuff using mythtv-setup and clearing out the channel/program info.

This is really really frustrating, is anyone else experiencing this, and how can I stop this from happening, are things just not being shut down properly!?
