I have a couple of problems which i think are related to the seektables.
1) Skip will work then the time will warp eg - skip 30 seconds skips 30 seconds of video but moves the display time 10-minutes. Some times it will freeze after skipping and bomb out.
2) a recording will only play if started from the beginning. if it tries to get to the bookmark it will freeze and the HD will sit and process.
I have run -

I want to try "optimize_mythdb.pl" but i dont know where this is?
Any other ideas?
