Hi,

I've just upgraded from R5B7 to R5E50 following tcj's Upgrade hints. Almost everything has worked perfectly.

The only thing left is that I can't seem to see my videos in MythVideo when it is set to list mode (they show up fine in Gallery and Browse mode). When in List mode, the left side shows "video root" and the right "No files found". The files are available via MythWeb and able to be played via Gallery and Browse modes.

The /myth/video directory is available, and owned by mythtv:mythtv. I have subdirectories for all my videos, some of which reside on another drive mounted underneath the /myth/video directory. Perms and ownership on this is the same as for /myth/video.

This wasn't an issue previously, so I'm thinking perhaps something that I'm not aware of has changed slightly. Can anyone shed any light?

Whilst it's not a show stopper, it's just annoying.

Thanks to all the developers for a sterling effort in producing some top notch software.

I just tested list view on a clean R5E50 insall and worked fine. Try flipping on/off the Utilites/Settup>Setup>Media Settings>Video settings> General> (2nd page) List Vidoe Browse Files setting. Maybe with the database upgrade something got messed up with status of that setting.

Or change views in MythVideo using M key to List/Browse/Gallery.

Thanks for the reply.

I've flipped the Display Files toggle a few times, doesn't seem to make any difference.

Flipping to Browse or Gallery mode work fine, they're just not as nice/easy to navigate around my directory tree, particularly for the missus.
