Is there a way to set audio delay in Myth? This would help audio/video sync for HDTVs that process the video frames and therefore actually play back video a few milliseconds late?

Yes. Burrow down into the setup menus in the front end. The path is roughly: utlities/setup -> setup -> tv -> playback There are a could audio sync options in there...

I've searched through the playback settings as you recommend. I found "use video as timebase" and "extra audio buffering". However, I can not find any sync options that can help me. Is there another location that I should investigate? A clue or perhaps some specific search terms would be appreciated. I have found many posts regarding sync, but most are targeted to fix a problem within Myth. My problem is not Myth, rather I'm trying to tweak Myth to account for HDTV processing video & audio inside the TV.

I still haven't found these permanent audio sync options.
