After 60+ days of uptime and several months of use, I noticed knoppmyth was stuttering a lot more than usual. I also tried to go in to view one of the automatic recordings it does, and saw that although the previous day's recordings were present, they were not viewable or listed in the manage recordings. There was some other menu strangeness so I rebooted. After rebooting, I got a disk full error.

After half an hour hunting for the problem, I found a 25 gig mysql log file in var/log. Deleting that returned the system to normal.

My question is this - is this problem "fixed" in the current knoppmyth version? I am hesitant to upgrade from what I have because what I have works just fine, but I also don't want to have to go in to manually purge log files every few months either.

Yes, it's fixed. There is also a well documented fix for the problem (a duplicated entry in the logrotate configuration) in your current version.

Thanks! That's what I was hoping. I don't know why I missed that fix browsing around the forum.
