The system has worked incredibly well for the last few months as my first ever HTPC (Knoppmyth worked great out of the box). However, I was playing back Monday's "24" episode a few minutes ago, and whenever I fast foward, the video gets very blocky and pixelated, and struggles to move forward.

Rewinding works fine. This happens on all my recordings, both SD and HD. Fast forwarding works ok once I have rewound, but only back up to the point I started to rewind (if that makes sense)...
