Was going to upgrade to R5E50 and checking threads for what issues people have hit. Saw in other threads that the madwifi drivers aren't in this release (well - somebody said they weren't there, and nobody corrected him) Curious if this was an oversight, or intentional and now all future releases won't have them.
I've been dependent on them up to this point. And trying to get my backend to a physical location to download/install them will be a huge pain.
If they were removed intentionally, I'll probably just invest in an external ethernet->wifi bridge. If it was an oversight, I'm more than happy to wait for the next release - whenever that may be.
Just to be 100% clear here --- I'm not bitching. Just asking
