Hello,

I am getting a loop of error messages during boot. The last thing that happened was a power failure, and ironically (before that), i installed the latest apcupsd from debian unstable. I am not sure which is at fault (the power or some dependancy update from apcupsd), but am desperatly in need of some help.

This is what the error messages are: (i had to manually type them in so please excuse any typos). They repeat over and over again, never stopping

Quote:
mount: Device or resource busy

insmod: cant read '/modules/jdb.ko'. No such file or directory.

insmod: cant read '/modules/ext3.ko'. No such file or directory.

Suspend2 2.2.7.3 Resume2 parameter is empty. Suspending will be disabled.

Suspend2 2.2.7.3: missing or invalid storage location (resume2 parameter). Please correct and rerun lilo (or equivalent) before suspending.

EXT2-fs warning: maximal mount count reached, running e2fsck is recommended.

I booted to the knoppmyth cd and mounted my primary drive. Everything seems to be in tact, and running fsck on it didnt change anything.

Any Idea what this could be, and how to fix it?

Thanks

I am having this exact same error. The power went out and my mythbox went through a hard shutdown and this exact same error is coming up. I've fsck and e2fsck the hard drive after booting with the installation disk, but no dice. I've tried a few changes to the lilo.conf that were suggested for people who had error during installation but that didn't help either. I have over 200 gig of files I’ve put on this box in the past couple months and nothing large enough to back it up to if I have to reload so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you install apcupsd via apt-get? See my posts here http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... nitrdtools
