Hey folks, long time mythtv user, first time poster. First of all, i love R5E50, damn near dead on perfect out of the box for my hardware.

Now for the question. I can't seem to get any commercial dvd to play back past it's first layer. I've searched high and low on the forums and the net, with no luck. As soon as i cross over to any chapter on the second layer, bam, read error. "Can't seek to block xxxxxxxx" is what xine reports. Mplayer just says end of file.

Help!

Oops, looks like I found my own solution. First, I tried changing drives. That made things worse. Then I set the region on the new drive. Now all is well! So, either I needed to re-set the region on my old drive, or the old drive ist kaput. Thanks for the help guys.
