I wanted to make a mythtv but I am new to Linux so it has been a bit of a steep learning curve. I need a bit of help. First, I can not find modprobe.conf, I have a WinTV Go Plus card, and need to add the line "options bttv card=10 tuner=39" to that file. Also, I would like some help installing the nvidia drivers and if I should, and then setting it up to view off the TV through a S-Video to Component connector. Would anyone be able to help me ok. Thank you |

I have checked under /etc/modprobe.conf and it is not there. |

Both of those thread contain the fix, the second one is a bit clearer: loco_hombre wrote: I fixed the audio by creating a new file- /etc/modprobe.conf
