Well, apparently after upgrading my Nvidia drivers, something must've hosed mysql (the make maybe?)

Anyway, I ran through the list in the tips/hints

If I do a :

Code:
myisamchk -f -r *.MYI

It comes back with:

Code:
- recovering (with sort) MyISAM-table 'archiveitems.MYI'
Data records: 0
Segementation fault

I tried doing a mythrestore and get a: warning table lists are not identical!

Am I hosed or what?

Kind of depends. What table(s) did it show you diffs on? If it's just "oldrecorded" and the count went down by a couple then you're probably alright. Run the checkrestore script and post the output here.

Actually I kinda gave up and just reinstalled from scratch. It also gave me the "opportunity" to get the streamzap problem fixed and to find that one of my 512 MB ram modules was bad (argh!).
