Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone else has had video problems after upgrading to R5E50 (I was previously at R5E16 I believe).

I have changed no hardware between upgrades but the video is having an issue where it appears that it is tearing (a little like what you might see in a video game when vsync is turned off but worse).

Has anyone else seen this?

I would really appreciate any insight into what might be causing this and what might be done to fix it.

Thanks,
jpummill

Your not alone I have the same problem, When I get a chance I was going to downgrade my nvidia drivers as I see the problem when watching avi files also.

I had a similar problem and mine gets solved by just pausing the playback for a second and then unpausing it.

It appears that the playback is trying to read the video from the hard disk before the record has written it. The pause and unpause just puts the playback another second or two behind the recording and the problem goes away.

You may need to add a -force to the end of that.
