I have (2) PVR150s in my BE that are both hooked up to verizon fios. One is hooked up through their motorla box and gets all 200 channels. The other is connected directly (no box) and get only the 20 or so analog channels.

Of course when only one show is recording, I would like to record from the digital so I will make that card have higher priority.

I have set up two listings with zap2it. One with all the channels (analog and digital) and one with only the analog. Will myth automatically realize that the bottom 20 channels (analog) are the same channels on both cards and schedule with this in mind?

To put it another way, if I schedule something on an analog channel and something on a digital channel at the same time, will myth automatically pick the card with the analog video source only to do the analog show and leave the other video card with all the channels to record the digital program... or do I need to handle this manually when I have two programs recording?

Not sure, but this page seems to be apropos:

http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Sc ... s#Priority

Check out "input preference" at the end of the Priority section, it looks like it will do what you want it to do. Post back if it does what you want.
