Update: I think the command is internal but if that is wrong please let me know

I changed the "new" myth ability to play DVDs from whatever the command was in R5D1 (upgrade to 0.20) to xine, and now that I've upgrade to R5E50 I'd like to change it back to the inbuilt player.

Can someone tell me what the player command is? I know where to put it.

If someone has a stock install and doesn't know where to look

Setup -> Media Settings -> DVD Settings -> Player Settings -> Command (or something like that).

Cheers
Simon

Just leave it blank if you want to use the builtin player, but beware of navigating within a DVD (FF, Skip, ...) which can send into orbit.

Cheers tcj. Might as well tell you why. I have a fair bit of trouble getting the picture under xine to match that under myth. Contrast and Brightness are by default way off. If there are other hints, I'll stick with xine. Also (and you probably can't help with this) but xine seems to take something from the mythtv aspect ratio setting, as I had to change the myth setting in E50 from fill to 4:3 in order to get the same ratio (must be because of XFree to XOrg, but it is something I haven't worked out) and since the change in myth, xine has changed it's default to 4:3 as well. Wierd. Can I decouple them?
