Post subject: | Streaming Video Problems |
First off... KnoppMyth R5E50 AMD Athlon 1.2Ghz 512Megs Ram GeForce3 PVR-350 (using TV-Out) I'm not recording anything or using it for live TV. It's been working great for downloaded videos. MythStream isn't giving me any video, but I get audio. The default gbs.tv streaming works, so I modified the script to play NASATV streams, but again, I get audio, but no video. Here's the script: #! /bin/bash /usr/bin/mplayer -quiet -fs -zoom -quiet -vo xv rtsp://a661.l1856741582.c18567.g.lr.aka ... ctor:41582 Like I said I'm using the PVR-350 TV out [/code] |

Perhaps the codec needed for the video isn't included as I don't want to get sued.... Search for more. |

Nope, the codec is there, I checked for that. I'm able to play the video no problem with mplayer on my mac, and they have the same codecs installed. I'm also able to play it on my linux workstation box with mplayer. Usually when I have a codec problem it doesn't play at all. This seems to want to play.. Looks like some kind of overlay problem. |
