Post subject:  Using DVI output on Myth

I have a working xorg.conf containing modelines for my HDTV. I'm currently using VGA output, but I want to convert this over to the DVI output on my nVidia 6200.

Has anyone successfully gotten DVI output to work? How did you go about doing it?

I have DVI running perfectly via a DVI to HDMI cable. It depends on you TV but mine worked with 640x480 (boot and bios resolution) just by hooking up the cable. My modeline for 720p is:
ModeLine "ATSC-720-60p" 74.25 1280 1320 1376 1650 720 722 728 750

Using the motherboard DVI output, geforce 6150 based.

I posted this thread several weeks ago in the Tips & Hints section that should address you question:

Thanks...that link was helpful, but for some reason I can only get a 480p signal working despite my 1080i modeline. I guess I'm running into a similar problem to your 800x600 problem.
