| Post subject: | Quick 'Tuner Order' question |
Been using my R5D1 system for months with no problems, and was setting up a system for a friend. His has just one issue: There's 2 tuners installed, a PVR150 and a HD5500. When you go to 'Watch TV' the HD5500 tuner comes up by default. We'd rather the PVR150 came up by default. Obviously, you can hit 'Y' to make this change tuners, but its an extra step. Any ideas how to do this? TIA |

Hi Pileofspan, In the settings of the frontend there is a check box that says "avoid conflicts with live TV", this will use the last capture card for live tv, and the first card for recording. This order is goverened by the order in which you added the cards in mythtv-setup. So in mythtv-setup, if you were to start from scrach, install the HD5500, then the PVR150. I hope this helps. The first card defined in the db is the first card used. So, delete all cards and setup the 150 first. |
