I really like the new MythArchive included in R5E50 (myth 0.20) - when it works. I have tried burning several recordings to DVD with mixed success. Usually I have no problem with content recorded from my Hauppage PVR250. However, my HD content recorded from my Air2PC HD5000 is problematic. Either I cannot get the recording to finish authoring (fails in "replex" step), or else if it does work, the audio and video go out of sync in the finished product. I have "Always Run Transcode" checked in the settings as the guide claims this fixes sync issues, but it has not helped mine. Has anyone else seen this and been able to resolve it? P.S. With respect to the errors I saw in encoding... I saw the helpful post someone made about avoiding overlapping edit points and such. I carefully made sure that no cut points overlapped, but still my DVD authoring seems to error out on the replex step. Thanks... T |

I reported http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/3146 that might be related. I haven't been able to test the fix yet as I still haven't had a chance yet to figure out how to re-complie mytharchive. You might try removing the --fix-sync options in mytharchive.py. Doing this causes problems for some people, but it temporarily fixed my sync problem. |
