When I put the knoppmyth cd in, and after an installation of knoppmyth I get a series of errors during boot, which take a long time. After these, the boot process speed picks up and knoppmyth starts fast. The errors look like this: intel_rng: FWH not detected ata1: port failed to responed (30 secs) ata1: SRST failed (status 0xFF) ata1: SRST failed (err_mask=0x100) ... ata1: reset failed, giving up ata2: port failed to responed (30 secs) ata2: SRST failed (status 0xFF) ata2: SRST failed (err_mask=0x100) ... ata2: reset failed, giving up Suspend2 2.2.8.4: Missing or invalid storage location... etc So once the above has passed, the boot carries on as normal. I have no idea what it means, so any pointers grateful thanks |
