I recently upgraded by backend and frontend (network boot off backend) to R5F1 and most things are working better.

The one thing that seems to be a step back is handling of memory cards with photos. I just plugged an SD card full of photos into my frontend and I got the following dialog box:

A photo card has been detected.
There are photos on the card. Would you like to
add these pictures to your album?

I wasn't able to do anything useful with the remote so I tried to VNC into and say sure "Import Photos" but that also didn't seem to do anything useful. The card was successfully mounted but KnoppMyth didn't seem to be able to do anything with it.

Any suggestions?

1) Make sure that "Monitor CD/DVD drives" is set in MythTV (fifth page of General settings). Despite the name, this is for all removable media. I think you have to exit mythfrontend, and restart it (Alt-M).

2) If that didn't work, but KnoppMyth is now automatically mounting the SD card, then find out what path it is mounted at, and add a line into /etc/fstab so that mythfrontend fill find that drive with the above setting.
