Anybody get StreamTV to work under R5F1. I haven't looked at this since R5C7 where I had it working. I tried the suggestions here

http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... 9386#79386

but have the same problems as here

http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... 9967#89967

In MythWeb when I get to the "MythStreamTV is now streaming your program" page I get "Please select a show to stream" in the log window. In R5C7 I used to be able to refresh the log file and watch the stream start up.

After more testing here's what I've found. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong or missing something.

The start stream button doesn't seem to envoke the command it displays on the next page in MythWeb properly. If I ssh into my box and run the command from the mythtv user account I can then click the refresh log link in MythWeb and get it to show the log file telling me the stream is running. For some reason the start and stop buttons don't work in MythWeb. The skip forward and back buttons seem to work fine though.

Selecting mp3 for audio doesn't seem to work. Suposedly R5F1 version of ffmpeg doesn't have mp3 in it.

Selecting mms for the stream type works in WMP11 but I can't get any audio no matter what audio type I choose. With VLC it won't even open the stream.

Selecting http for the stream type seems to buffer forever in WMP11 and still no audio. With VLC it works fine. This is the only solution I have so far.

Any ideas on how to get mms to work or WMP11 to work with audio?

I've experienced pretty much the same findings as you.

I was considering re-compiling FFMpeg with mp3 - but have yet found time to do so.

I was able to get the start stream button in mythweb to work by editing the /myth/streamtv/mythstreamtv.sh file. On line 45 and 47 I had to move the ". Move it from here
Code:
":sout=transcode

to
Code:
:sout="transcode

I found this on the mythtv.org user mailing list.
