Post subject:  Perfect TV-OUT need help

Hey you know when you connect a DVD player or digital setop box u to your TV and get a perfect picture. I kinda find this is not the case using NVIDIA-TV-out on my geforce4x440SE going via s-video.

I found out that australia air's 720x576. I kinda have it running on that res, xvmc standard on deinterlaced linnear option. Its seems smooth, and fast, but it loses a bit of picture quality using deinterlaced on, i found the standard mpeg decoder gave great picture quality, but it was little slow.

Does Nvida have a standard? like digital setop box's have like 576i 576p without messing with settings?

Here is base of my config file

I have 51cm dicksmith tv, it runs at 50hz i believe, is there ayway to get the best perfect settings for this tv?

I also find, why do i have to put deinterlace on ? since the tv can only do 576i. If it turn it off it's goes ghosty in fast sences.

I kinda want to make sense with all these modelines options, i have no idea if they are working, just using trial and error.
