I just picked up a Harmony 720 universal remote and was planning to use it with the ir receiver on my HDHomerun. Following Silicondust's instructions, I've been able to have the HDHomerun send a UDP packet to port 5000 and even have have IRW post that it has received the packet. I have configured the harmony remote to send PVR-150 signals and IRW posts them as PVR-350 signals, I have no idea if that is what's supposed to show up or not. Regardless, the remote is not doing a thing for the Knoppmyth box. I have rerun lirc-reconfig.sh for the Hauppauge PVR-150. I'm running R5F1 and was using the ATI remote wonder. My goal was use a universal remote without busting out the big money for a decent RF universal remote. I need someone to help nudge this relative newbie in the right direction. |
