Hi guys Just a quick question : what are the correct IP settings for the backend ? (I mean in the mythtv-setup) 2 are actually in the table settings in the database : MasterServerIP | 127.0.0.1 | NULL | BackendServerIP | 127.0.0.1 | chimaera | I'd like to use a remote frontend, and I can not connect to my backend server. Do I need to set the lan IP of my backend server ? I tried to change both IP but when I start my backend, It tells me in the logs "starting as slave backend" What is wrong ? By the way I'm using Mythtv .15 on the backend and .14 on the frontend (booted from the knoppmythtv r4v3) Thanks in advance Yhan |

You cannot use a different version on a remote frontend than what is on the backend. |

Thanks, that's what I thought Yhan BTW the installation of your .debs on R4V2 is working fine. No troubles found to install or to use the backend (recording, transcoding, etc) Thanks for your hard work guys |
