Hello all, I tried the search but didn't come up with what I needed. I have a 500 gig external hard drive connected to a windows machine. I'd like to access the videos stored on it for use with my myth box. The current setting for videos is /myth/video I tried the IP address/shared directory of my win machine in place of /myth/video and it didn't work. Any help provided would be much appreciated -Eric R Let me now if anyone needs for info and I'll provide |

Hi, Ok I will just as an FYI I already created a shared drive that linux can see it's ie smb://myipaddress/video When I try and put this path into mythtv the error I get is unknown prefix -Eric |
