When playing recorded shows the time remiaing is not correct. For example when skipping ahead for an hour long program it shows weird recording time lengths like 10:04:01. The time lengths are always different form one another. My set up was working fine until the power went out and now I'm not sure how to fix it.

Any suggestions?

Check your DB for corruption (see Cecil's How To under Hints & Tips or my DB optimization script).

In extreme cases you may also need to reconstruct the markup tables for the recordings using mythcommflag and lossless transcoding. I wrote a tutorial on that once upon a time which a search should turn up if you include "myth.rebuilddatabase.pl", "mythcommflag", and "lossless" in the search terms. Don't forget to check "require all terms"!
