I just finished upgrading to R5F27 and Schedules Direct - Went great - had to change video source from video1 to video0 for whatever reason - but it works.

Problem though: All existing recordings and existing recording schedules channels are all off by one channel number. For example, it's supposed to record on Channel 32, but it says to record on Channel 31.

My channels are setup fine - Nickelodeon is listed as 32, which is correct. It's just all my schedules are now wrong (off by 1).

To add even more goofiness - in MythWeb the Listings page has the recordings properly highlighted on the correct channel. In the 'recording schedules' page it's off by 1. In the 'upcoming recodings' page - some are off by 1 and others are correct

Anyone have any idea of a fix for this (besides nuking all schedules and ignoring current recording channel listings) ?

System Info:
Upgraded from : R5E50
TV Listings : Schedules Direct - Comcast non-digital cable

Thanks :)
Matt

I had this happen once long ago.. It was due to the type of channel scan I performed when I resetup everything.. Try chanign the US-bcast setting to something else...

Have you tried correcting the issue via the 'keys' option in mythweb?

I know this applies to an earlier release, but is this any use?

Thanks for the replies - I did drop my video sources and such during setup - but, I'll do it again and see what happens.

Your problem sounds an awful lot like the symptoms of scanning for SD channels. Also, have you done the check in the R5F1 Hints for bogus cardinput records?

Alrighty - Still got the issue.

I re-ran mythtv-setup - selected to remove all sources - added SD back in. Did a channel lineup retrieve from SD. All went perfectly kosher.
Exited then ran a normal mythfilldatabase. Still have the same problem with channels for old recordings and existing schedules in some places being off by one.

tjc - I checked my 'cardinput' table and it only has 1 entry and that looks to be the correct one for my PVR250.

What's odd is that I have a very basic and boring setup - I don't know why not everyone else is seeing this... :?:

I do appreciate the help - any other thoughts?
Matt
