I am running R5F27 and I'm seeing a strange occurrence with my net connection. When I first boot, my internet connection is fine, it gets an IP address, and the network card is fine.

If I leave it for 10-15 minutes after I reboot, the net connection is lost. Once I lose it, if I try to ping my main router from my Myth box, I get an error saying that the destination is unreachable.

However, if I keep a putty/ssh connection up, it seems to hold the connection alive indefinitely.

I'm running the new Biostar 7050 board, with an onboard NIC.

Anyone have any ideas whats going wrong?

I was mistaken, even with a putty connection left open, it will lose the net connection.
