After upgrading I can not change chan on my dish rx.
anyone can give me hints on how to get the mceusb2 blaster to change channels on a dish HD?
I have tried following a post http://knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page ... hSetTopBox
but no luck.
The previous version I used a serial blaster on com1 but I can not get that one to work either.
My USB remote has 2 blaster ports.

I had a similar problem with my Serial IR Blaster. Turns out the irblaster service was not automatically started.

I ran:

# /etc/init.d/irblaster start

And channel changing started working for me. I still don't know how to have it started automatically after a reboot

OH! yes... THANKS. that got my serial blaster working great, there is a change_channel script in there too.
It sure would be nice to get the blasters from the USB IR to work also. That has 2 ports and I do have 3 receivers I can use, my machine only has a single serial port.
