My last (I hope!) issue with F27 is that my PVR150 doesn't work well. Channels come in in black and white, with no audio. My 350 works fine. I know it's not the cable, because I can switch the two and I get the same bad picture on the 150.

I take it this has something to do with the ivtv driver. I was previously using R5E50 and it worked fine. So should I upgrade to 0.10.5? That seems like my best option without upgrading the kernel.

Please see item 5.1 under Known Changes in the R5F27 Hints.

1) ivtv 0.10.5 is not an upgrade from the version included.

2) installing it will break your system.

Have you been through the ivtv sections in the hints? There is a list of potential issues and corrective steps to take.

I've gone through the ivtv sections and the suggestions here: http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13097

I did the following, and it now works, but I'm not sure what actually fixed it. Whatever it was, it didn't take until I rebooted.

- dropped and recreated the video cards
- turned off VBI (this DID help with display issues on the 350 though)
- changed the recording resolution to 720x480
