I just upgraded to r5f27 for the schedules direct update. Now I'm trying to get my irman remote to work. I got irman 4.4 installed, recompiled lirc 0.8.2 from cvs and when I reboot it shows "Starting lirc daemon: lircd" but once the frontend loads my remote is unresponsive. If I start lirc by hand with & restart the front end with Ctl-Alt-Bksp everything works normal until I reboot. I tried putting the command in /etc/init.d/bootmisc & with init scripts, both the stock one & a custom one made from a generic template. When I had something in both places it tried starting twice the second time it reported that the pid for lircd already existed. So I tried each one separately with the same results. Also my LCDd seems to have a similar problem with starting but not being there later
