I seem to be getting some inconsistent numbers from Mythweb
Mythweb is saying:
"using 104 GB (1 day 23 hrs 35 mins) out of 228 GB (75 GB free)"
This is consistant with what the system status inside myth is telling me.

Last time I checked, 75+104 does not equal 228. I seem to be missing roughly 49GB of space.

Here is the results of df

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda1 4828768 2067036 2517144 46% /
/dev/hda3 239417908 160812880 78605028 68% /myth
tmpfs 256684 4 256680 1% /dev/shm

Can someone please give me some help, or at least make suggestions?

What ELSE is in your /myth directory? Mythweb only counts whats in your /myth/tv dir. If you have stuff in other directories .......

I checked what is actually in /myth/tv, and it seems that there is 157 GB is actually being used. Mythweb is only reporting that 106 GB is being used. This seems to go along with my missing 49 GB.

It seems like there were shows that were deleted from the database but the files still remain and were not deleted.

I was able to locate what files they were by using

myth.rebuilddatabase.pl --dbhost=localhost

After they were back in the database, I deleted them again using mythweb. They seem to be gone this time.

using 102 GB (1 day 22 hrs 41 mins) out of 228 GB (121 GB free)
(i have about 5 GB of videos and music in other directories)

All is right in my world again.

You might make sure the 'Save original files after transcoding' box is unchecked in mythtv-setup general. I had that check at one time and couldn't figure out why I kept getting 'space pinched'. It was because I was transcoding to save space, but was eating up near twice as much for every transcode... as there was now 2 copies.
