It appears that My copy of R5F27 contains many missing symbolically linked files that were contained in /root when things were built. The symbolic links are a major pain as compiling mythtv from source has many issues with these missing header files. The symbolic links that I have found are in the /usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.18-chw-13/include/linux directory. The keys ones for me are ivtv.h and ivtvfb.h which I am tracking down now. I believe these do not allow my source compile of mythtv to have v4l and ivtv support for my pvr500s.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I'll post back when I find some answers.

Get the "tip" for of the V4L/DVB modules and make kernel-links.
