Post subject:  'Create dvd' phantom/broken

My KM system crashed while in the process of archiving recordings off to DVD. While the system came back up okay, and is working fine for watching recorded shows, whenever I go to the "Create DVD" menu, it takes me straight into the Log Viewer screen, which shows the last entry still dated the day the system locked up. The last entry says it's running 'mythtranscode --mpeg2 to fix any errors', but I think this is a phantom as ps does not show any such process running, and it never moves past this point despite ample time. So, I think when I choose 'Create DVD' it's finding an old pid or lock file and thinks the process is already underway and thus dumps me right into the log monitor. I've tried Cancelling and Exiting, and even rebooting a few times (for other non-related reasons), but I can't get past this phantom. Anyone know how to fix this so I can actually get back to burning DVDs? Thanks.

Peter

You'll need to remove everything from the MythArchive working directory (/myth/tmp by default, IIRC) as the process didn't have a chance to clean those out...

That worked. Thanks.
