Folks,
I did a "Frontendonly" install like the readme stated on the knoppmyth wiki.
I seem to have everything working properly except one thing. I can't open the guide on my frontend and select a program to record. If I select a program and go into the recording menu the "Scheduling Options" is grayed out.
So I logged into mythweb on the backend and scheduled the recording. Now when I go into Media Library/Watch Recordings on the frontend it's not there either.
If I look in mythweb at the backend I see the recording and I can also see the mpg file in myth/tv from the frontend.
On my frontend I've mounted /myth with NFS to my backend /myth directory.
When I go into watch recordings from my frontend I can see all the programs I've watched with live tv on my frontend but not the recording I scheduled with mythweb.
If I go the the backend machine and fireup the frontend on there I can see the recording under Watch Recordings.
I've shutdown mysql on the frontend and have it pointing to my backend for the db.
Have I missed something?
******************UPDATE*******************
Ok so I went into Setup/TV Settings/Playback and set All Programs group filter to apply and I now see the program I recorded along with LiveTV programs I've viewed.
Sometimes ya gotta just start clicking buttons and see what happens...
