G'day all,

I have a dvb-s and pvr-350 (plus others).
At the moment I watch on a grotty 4:3 telly with composite input - yuck I hear you say, yes, I agree! Roll on the forthcoming sales....
Also using the 350 for output and not the fx5200 I have...yet!

Anyway...
When I watch a show recored on the pvr-350 the screen is full of picture, lovely, OK I loose a bit due to over scan, put it is not normally a problem.

When I watch some thing recorded from the DVB-S card (or live TV) the picture is chopped off top and bottom.
It seems that most stuff on the DVB-S is wide screen (maybe that is the problem) I have yet to record anything that is not widescreen (or so it seems), so I am getting the letter box effect which is OK.
A bit of black at the top, picture and a bit of black at the bottom, but the picture is getting chopped off, normally it is not an issue, but I noticed it the other day when I could only see 1/2 the credits.

Any ideas? Would the overscan on recording from the 350 and DVB-S card be the same? And would the setting's in setup fix both? I have not tried, I remember it being a hassle when I first set the box up and I am loath to touch a nearly perfect setup.
Are the setting held in the database, I.E. can I backup, play and if I break it totally, restore from my backup?

Many thanks.
