Hi all, I use Knoppmyth since February and i am very happy now that all works right... I would like to know if is possible: A) Install DIVX 5.0 (Does this version exists in linux?) B) Use it with NUVEPORT C) Make 2 Pass DIVX 5.0 encoding on my recordings (by nuveport....) I am buried to edit my recordings with Virtualdub in windows... I would like to do all by my Knoppmyth htpc... I hope someone help me...

A)Yes, it exist. But ffmpeg does it and does it better. B)Yes, you can use nuvexport to make divx. I don't use nuvexport that often so I cannot go into particulars. It is however easy to use... C)I don't know if nuvexport does double pass. The fellow behind nuvexport is/anwsers on the mythtv mailing list... |

B) I know that nuvexport can export divx... i would like to know if it's able to encode with divx 5.0 and not with divx 3 (by default...) C) Nuvexport doesn't encode in double pass... i would like to know if someone had tried to modify nuvexport's scripts... |

You'd have saved us both time and effort is you'd have stated your desires in the first post.... I'd suggest you consult the mythtv mailing list. Please feel free to post your findings. |
