I have already searched on many combination of the various terms relating to this and have found nothing usefull.

I currently inherited 2 digital tuner cards from a friend who has decided to go to appletv. A Dvico fusion 5 lite and a pchdtv. When I got these cards I decided to upgrade my systems to r5f27.

My previous configuration:
sys1 - MBE+FE
sys2 - FE only
sys3 - FE only

My current config (same hardware
sys1 - MBE+FE
sys2 - SBE+FE
sys3 - FE only

I did not have any slots left in my MBE (has 3 analog tuners already) so I converted one of my FE to a SBE+FE. Everything works fine except that the MBE thinks the two new tuners are always in use. I get the "MythTv is already using all available inputs for the channel you selected" message. I can view any of the tv channels from the analog tuners in the MBE but not any of the digital tuners in the SBE.

I looked in the inuseprograms table and there is no active job running for any of tuners on the SBE. I am at a loss as to where else to look to release this lock. Rebooting both the backend machines does nothing.

I know the tuners work because when I pull the network on the SBE and reconfigure it (change the IPs to loopback and bring up mysql) to be the MBE I can watch both the digital tuners and have found 5 hd and about 20 sd clear QAM channels on my cable and would like to be able to watch them as I have 2 HDTVs.

Thanks

Andre.
