I've just noticed that the thumbnails that are normally in the gallery view of videos are missing, as are all the details (length, year etc.). They appear in MythWeb but not on the machine itself (which is both frontend and backend).

I've recently made changes to my xorg.conf file to finally get the resolution right for my 1366x768 TV so I thought that might be part of the problem, but when I restored the original xorg.conf the problem was still there.

Is there a link somewhere that could be wrong on the machine itself but works fine in WythWeb? Any help is much appreciated!

Interesting... By videos, I take it you mean MythVideo. Are the videos on the same machine? I'd say check the backend and frontend logs (/var/log/mythtv) after going to MythVideo and selection a movie.

Yes, they're all on the same machine. The backend log shows nothing relevant, but the frontend log looks like it has a few clues


So it looks like there may be some missing reference in the video-ui.xml. I've already tried changing the theme (so it should, I think, be using different xml files for the layout ), paint engine and QT style, but there's been no change.

An easy step would be to try another theme.
