I have the R5.5RC with pvr350 tvout. Just a quick question about screen resolution. X defaults to something like 720x468 I change it to 800x600 and 1024x768 in screen section in xorg.conf but i get a black screen. It seems to only like the low resolution. Is there another place to set this. Thanks Dave |

The PVR350 has a hardware decoding chip on board that was made for standard definition playback. S-Video cable can handle higher resolutions but I believe the card just can't keep up in the higher resolutions. |
