After copying the files onto a thumb drive, I was able to run Mythtv Player successfully inside my lan. Then I decided to try it using my dyndns address, after setting the router to port forward, and it worked. I've not tried it from any other location. Since there was no authentication, I stopped the port forard. I personally don't have much use for it, but wonder if others might find it useful. Could it be made to use a password setup similar to Mythweb? |

With 0.21, there will be a pin code you can assign to the backend. |
