Where are the fonts for the on screen display in mplayer in R5.5? With R5F27 I could copy them to /home/mythtv/.mplayer/font and they'd work. I'd like to use a smaller font then the one that comes with R5.5 (it's just too big on my 800x600 SDTV). Thanks! |

Yeah, I dunno about this... even after nuking the /home/mythtv/.mplayer/font dir totally, the large font for the timer (hit the o key while watching a vid) is still present... anyone? |

Finally got it! Copy a true type font of your choice to your ~/.mplayer dir and rename it subfont.ttf There are a number of freeware fonts you can use. Have a look at fontspace.com as an example. Then add the following to your ~/.mplayer/config Code: subfont-autoscale=1
font=subfont.ttf autoscale can be 1-4 I believe (1 is smallest) |
