Does R5.5 have a patcher script like R5.27?

Just asking if I need to check for resolved issues and fix them by hand or if there is a patcher script that fixes major issues?

Not yet. There are a number of know issues/fixes (mostly covered in the R5.5 Hints) but after the rather painful process of getting R5.5 out everyone is more than a little burned out.

Yes, it does, but only if they've been made available on the FTP server, and as you've noticed that hasn't happened yet.
