| Post subject: | Mythfrontend Crashes |
Here is the lowdown. It is a fresh install of 5.5. Everything else is working fine but mythfrontend just crashes for no reason while it is sitting idle. I have found this in the log files Double QObject deletion detected. *** glibc detected *** mythfrontend: double free or corruption (fasttop): 0xb2f8c450 *** Plus a whole memory dump of when it crashed. Any ideas? |

I found a match at http://www.mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv- ... 31770.html Were you in mythmusic at the time? Also, have you installed or upgraded anything else? Anything at all. Mike |

i read that thread as well and i was not using mythmusic. I have not upgraded a thing since installing 5.5. It happens when mythtv is just sitting at the menu screen. Ie. Not watching TV or a video. I have tried to change the screen painting to OpenGL but that did not fix the issue either. |
