When I boot up I get stuck on a screen say the backend was unavailable. On my log I get: 2008-11-22 17:50:26.594 Couldn't upgrade database to new schema 2008-11-22 18:28:31.330 Using runtime prefix = /usr 2008-11-22 18:28:31.376 DBName is not set in mysql.txt 2008-11-22 18:28:31.388 Empty LocalHostName. 2008-11-22 18:28:31.388 Using localhost value of mythtv 2008-11-22 18:28:31.390 Configuration::Load - Error parsing: /home/mythtv/.mythtv/config.xml at line: 1 column: 1 2008-11-22 18:28:31.391 Configuration::Load - Error Msg: unexpected end of file 2008-11-22 18:28:31.490 New DB connection, total: 1 2008-11-22 18:28:31.498 Connected to database '' at host: LOCALHOST 2008-11-22 18:28:31.499 Closing DB connection named 'DBManager0' 2008-11-22 18:28:31.500 Connected to database '' at host: LOCALHOST 2008-11-22 18:28:31.521 ERROR: Unable to create schemalock table: Driver error was [2/1046]: QMYSQL3: Unable to execute query Database error was: No database selected Any suggestions. This error started after the box froze and I had to restart it. I have fun fsck and check the database and checked out ok. rkshack |

Some how when I was recovering from my error I did not fix the database name. I went into /home/mythtv/.mythtv/mysql.txt and put mythconverg in database name and everything started up. rkshack |
