Just picked up an ASUS EN8400GS SILENT/HTP/512M PCIe video card from newegg earlier this week in anticipation of VDPAU support. I installed it into my R5.5 frontend installation. I was using onboard NVIDIA 7050PV video prior to this card in an Abit AN-M2HD. The card seems to work well, but after watching TV and turning off the monitor, but leaving the FE on, I lose signal to my monitor when I fire it back up and nothing seems to bring it back to life. I'm not certain how long the system idles for before this happens. Maybe an hour? I checked the BIOS settings and nothing jumps out at me there. I also looked at my xorg.conf and /home/mythtv/fluxbox/.apps to check for DPMS and everything in those files that is DPMS related is set to OFF/FALSE. NVIDIA driver is version 177.82. Anyone ever experience this or have any suggestions as to what the issue may be? |
