In R5.5, I have been able to successfully accomplish a lossless transcode which removes the flagged commercials, if I activate the transcode from the Mythtv GUI (keyboard controls):
During program playback, I hit O to bring up the menu. I arrow down to Transcode. Then I choose High Quality - because I set the High Quality transcode to use Lossless Transcode (which uses the commercial cutlist during the transcode). So, that works and produces a commercial-free output file.
Now, I'd like to be able to activate a Lossless Transcode from the Mythweb interface.
I've tried to accomplish it and it does not produce a commercial free output file.
In the Mythweb Recorded Programs screen, I navigate to a recorded program, click on the thumnail picture, which brings up a screen about that program, then choose the Transcode button, under the Queue A Job heading. It starts the process. When this is done, it produces an output file with all the commercials still in it.
Since there was no choice of what kind of transcoding to use, how can I select the High Quality level, which will remove the commercials, like in the Mythtv GUI?
Eric
