Not sure and maybe this should be in a feature request but I installed and configured apache to run on port 88 and reinstalled PHP but no apache php module. I need this for asterisk/freepbx to work correctly and this is a MUST HAVE for my home pbx. Anyways just thought I would ask if it is indeed included or is this omitted for some reason.

R6 uses lighttpd not apache, there is no reason to have this installed or in the repostiory except for uses other then what the distro was architected for.

Gnarl: Yep aware of all that but seeing how this is an appliance, I wish to use it as my home pbx as well. Freepbx requires Apache/PHP and it is not included in R6 as far as I can tell.

UPDATE:

I enabled core, extra repos then installed PHP from there and it included the module. I now have a fully functional PBX on my LinHES box :-). Works well but I did need to compile several bits and pieces which was not a drama at all. Now running Asterisk 1.6 and the latest FreePBX with an SPA3102 ATA to utilize my phone line and cordless phone.
